If you scan documents to PDF with HP Solution Center and get the error 'Internal DRS error 1500:c0:3001' the most simple fix for it is to lower the DPI settings to atleast 200 DPI.

You can also save the scan to pdf profile with the 200 DPI setting as default. Also, when you on the page to select the DPI, set also the language of the document you're scanning.
